As part of the dunaPart4 off programme, we showcase short pieces by five young, independent artists/pairs of artists. The first four have been selected from the former participants of the Artus programme series entitled Facing the Fish (Viola Lévai and Luca Dömötör; Dorottya Podmaniczky and Dávid Mikó; Veronika Szabó; and Dóra Ida Szűcs); the fifth production (Csilla Nagy and Mátyás Tóth) comes from members of the middle generation, although as an artistic duo, this marks their debut.

Facing the Fish – the new generation programme of Artus:

The programme aims to support emerging artists by offering them a space for creation at Artus Studio, where they can present their works under professional conditions. Artus provides a place for rehearsals, as well as technical and professional support. The programme is open to all genres – dance, theatre, visual arts, music or any other interdisciplinary project – which constitute “live art”, that is, the creators or performers take part live in the artwork.
